If you have found yourself stuck and unable to progress forward in your life due to the rapidly changing and evolving field of IT, where your IT skills and knowledge have become outdated and obsolete, it may be worth considering taking an online course to bring your IT skills up-to-date and inline with what’s current with the company your working for.

Your company may already provide you with the option of taking these courses anyway and may even pay for them, but if they have not, don’t give the company an excuse to replace you for somebody who has the required skills for the software the company are currently using.

If the company are replacing an older content management system with let’s say some type of Sage CMS system then it may be worth taking a course for the same software to familiarise yourself with the new system quickly.
